I just watched "A House of Dynamite" and I gotta say, it felt like watching paint dry
. It was so slow and dragged on forever! I mean, what happened to all the tension and suspense that made you wanna keep watching? The first 30 minutes was okay, but after that, it just lost me completely. I need some action, some drama, something that makes my heart pound... this just didn't deliver
.
And don't even get me started on how it compared to "Fail Safe". That one's a real masterclass in suspense and nuance. It showed you the human side of nuclear proliferation, not just some generic thriller tropes. I feel like "A House of Dynamite" was trying too hard to be serious but came across as forced and unnatural
.
I mean, what's up with all these new Netflix thrillers trying to one-up each other? Can't we just have a good ol' fashioned, well-made thriller that doesn't feel like it's checking off every box on the "Thriller Checklist"
? I guess not
. Anyway, if you want a real nuclear thriller, stick with "Fail Safe". Trust me, it'll be worth your time
