the way london is losing its independent vibes is super sad 🤕 i mean, these family-owned cafes arent just about serving food they're part of the community fabric & it's a shame that corporations like daisy green care more about profits than people 💸 meanwhile, we need places where people can feel included & connect with others not just some fancy cafe with a pretty instagram filter 📸
 
Ugh, come on 🙄... this petition is so overdue! I mean, can't people just acknowledge that chains like Daisy Green are here to stay? They're not going anywhere, and we need to adapt. The fact that it's taking a group of famous actors to bring attention to the issue says more about how little effort locals put into speaking up in the first place 🙃.

I'm all for community spirit, but let's not romanticize these family-owned cafes like they're some kind of rare gem that's being threatened by progress. They were never a staple of London's high streets because of their quaintness or affordability; it's because they managed to survive in a competitive market that was already saturated with smaller, independent businesses.

We need to recognize that gentrification is not just about big chains pushing out small ones – it's also about how we consume and interact with our communities. We're more concerned with taking Instagram-worthy pics than actually supporting local businesses that cater to diverse needs 📸... sorry, had to say it 😏.

i think its super sad when small family businesses get pushed out by big chains its like losing a part of your neighborhood where you can actually talk to people face to face and feel connected to the place 🤕 i mean dont get me wrong im all for new ideas and stuff but sometimes i think we forget that there are real humans behind these businesses, not just some corporate machine 👥
