I just can't believe what's happening in these villages... it's like a whole new world has been taken away from them overnight

. I mean, you'd think that with all the awareness we have about climate change and conservation, people would know better than to just chop down trees willy-nilly for agriculture or whatever reason

. And now, innocent people are paying the price.
It's not just the immediate damage that's so heartbreaking - it's the thought of those survivors who lost loved ones and had their homes destroyed... I can only imagine how traumatic this must be for them

. We need to take a step back and think about what we're doing to our planet, you know? We have to do better than just reacting to these disasters after they happen.
I'm not saying governments are completely at fault or anything, but it's clear that environmental degradation played a huge role in this disaster

. And yet, I haven't seen any concrete plans from the international community to help those affected... it's like, what are we even doing? We need to step up and support these people, you know?
