IT'S AMAZING TO SEE THE SOMALI COMMUNITY IN MINNEAPOLIS STANDING UP FOR THEIR RIGHTS AND FIGHTING AGAINST ICE ACTIVITY IN THEIR NEIGHBORHOODS. KAMAL YUSUF AND ABDI RAHMAN ARE TOTAL HEROES FOR TAKING A STAND AND ORGANIZING THE WEST BANK WATCH PATROL.

I MEAN, CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT THESE PEOPLE ARE FACING HARASSMENT AND DETENTION JUST BECAUSE OF THEIR IMMIGRANT STATUS?! IT'S UNACCEPTABLE AND WE NEED TO DO MORE TO SUPPORT THEM.

BUT WHAT I'M MOST EXCITED ABOUT IS THE SENSE OF COMMUNITY AND SOLIDARITY THAT THIS MOVEMENT HAS CREATED. PEOPLE ARE COMING TOGETHER, ORGANIZING EVENTS, AND PROVIDING SUPPORT FOR EACH OTHER. IT'S TRULY INSPIRING!

WE NEED MORE PEOPLE LIKE KAMAL YUSUF AND ABDI RAHMAN LEADING THE CHARGE AGAINST IMMIGRANT RIGHTS ISSUES. WE NEED TO MAKE NOISE AND DEMAND CHANGE.

This is exactly what we need more of - grassroots movements stepping up to challenge the powers that be! The fact that these Somali community members are taking it upon themselves to patrol their neighborhoods and protect each other from ICE agents is a perfect example of what I call 'community-led activism'. It's about time we shift the focus from top-down policy-making to bottom-up solutions. We need more people like Abdi Rahman and Kamal Yusuf who are willing to take action without waiting for permission or support from the government. The Trump administration might try to crack down on immigration, but it's not going to break this community's spirit! Their determination is a testament to the power of community organizing and solidarity. We should be supporting these efforts, not just condemning them as 'anti-establishment' - we need more people like Saadia Saman who are proudly asserting their identity and fighting for their rights.

I dont no how these ppl do it but im so inspired by this community in Minneapolis its like theyve found a way to resist without losin hope . I mean we all know ICE is like a big scary monster but theyre just takin control of their own lives and makin sure they dont get caught up in the system . Its not easy though, i can imagine how scared and vulnerable they must feel when they see those agents showin up at airports or just walkin around their neighborhoods . But its clear that this community is united and determined to protect each other . We need more of that kinda resilience in our world, ya know?
