Jos Buttler, the England captain, and Jofra Archer will continue to don the Gujarat Titans jersey in the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). However, there's some mixed news for England fans as Liam Livingstone has been released by the Royal Challengers Bengaluru franchise. The 31-year-old all-rounder had a disappointing campaign last year, scoring just 112 runs in 10 innings and claiming two wickets at an economy rate of 8.44.

The Rajasthan Royals have retained Jofra Archer despite his relatively poor show last season, with the England pacer taking just 11 wickets at 39.18. Archer's prolonged run of fitness has earned him a spot in the team. On the other hand, Liam Livingstone is among the players released by Bengaluru.

The Rajasthan Royals have also traded for Sam Curran from Chennai Super Kings as part of a blockbuster deal. The England all-rounder will join his new teammates alongside India's Ravindra Jadeja. However, England batter Harry Brook has pulled out of the tournament for the second consecutive year, leaving him at risk of a two-year suspension.

Other English players not retained by their franchises include Reece Topley (Mumbai Indians), Moeen Ali (Kolkata Knight Riders), and Phil Salt (Royal Challengers Bengaluru).
 
So I'm watching all these cricket news coming out and I just don't get it, you know? 🤔 I mean Jos Buttler and Jofra Archer staying with the Gujarat Titans but Liam Livingstone gets let go from the Royal Challengers? Like what did he do wrong, mate? 🤷‍♂️ 112 runs in 10 innings isn't exactly a bad start... I guess sometimes these franchises just need to shake things up. And another thing, why are all these English players getting dropped left and right? Reece Topley, Moeen Ali, Phil Salt... what's going on there? 🤦‍♂️
 
I'm so done with these IPL teams making massive trades just for the sake of it 🤯. First, you're telling me that Jofra Archer is staying with Rajasthan Royals despite a pretty rough season last year, and now they're trading for Sam Curran? What's the point of having good players if you're not going to give them a chance to shine? 🤔 And don't even get me started on Liam Livingstone... I mean, come on, he got released by two different franchises? Poor bloke needs some luck! 😐
 
Ugh, IPL again 🙄... like every year it's all about the big money deals and guys showing up or not 😒. So they're keeping Archer despite his numbers last season? Not exactly blowing anyone away, if you ask me 🤔. But at least he's healthy now, right? On a more positive note, I love that Curran is joining Rajasthan Royals - that guy's always been underrated in my opinion 👍. And poor Livinston, released by Bengaluru... guess his campaign last year just didn't go as planned 🤦‍♂️. Still can't believe Brook is out of the tournament for a second time... all that hype and he bails on us again 😡.
 
im so sad to see liam livingstone go he was always my hope for a decent english performance in the ipl but hopefully sam curran will bring some excitement to the team 🤞 still dont understand why harry brook pulls out again like what did he do last year? and jofra archer is still with rajasthan royals despite being rubbish last season lol guess they need him more than we thought 🤷‍♂️

OMG, I'm so confused about the IPL transfers this season! 😂 One minute you think Liam Livingstone is safe, next he's gone! 🤔 I mean, I get it, 112 runs in 10 innings isn't great, but come on, that's still a decent strike rate. And now Sam Curran is joining Rajasthan Royals, I'm loving this move! 💪 But what's going on with Harry Brook? Two years suspended for not playing? That seems harsh, don't you think? 🤷‍♂️ Guess we'll just have to wait and see how the season plays out. Fingers crossed for our England boys, though! 🇬🇧
 
idk about liam livinstone, he's always been a bit of a mystery to me lol 🤔 think the rcb franchise should've stuck with him tho, he's got talent but just can't seem to get it together. anyway, glad jofra archer is staying put at rajasthan royals, he's such an important player for england and they need him back 🙌
 
I'm really pondering about this news... it's like, we see the guys who are good enough to make a team, but not necessarily the best fit, getting another chance. Like, Archer and Livingstone have their moments, but can they sustain? And what does that say about our priorities as fans? Are we just excited for the big names or do we genuinely believe in these players' abilities? Meanwhile, guys who didn't quite click last year are getting a fresh start... I guess it's all part of the cycle. 🤔
 
I'm loving this IPL season so far 🤩. I mean, Jos Buttler and Jofra Archer still going strong with the Titans, but Liam Livingstone's out of the running it seems 😐. Poor bloke had a rough year last season. But hey, Sam Curran's a great pick up for the Royals - that guy can bowl! 🎯 And I'm kinda surprised the Royals kept Jofra despite his numbers... guess they're counting on him to step up his game this time around? 👀
 
omg i just saw this news and idk what to think 🤯 so england's captain butler and archer are gonna be with gujrat titans again but like livingstone got released by bcg... i feel bad for him he had a tough year last season 🤕 and it looks like archer is still getting a chance despite being kinda rubbish last year 😂 anyway the rajasthan royals made some huge moves trading sam curran for a bunch of cash 💸 but poor harry brook pulled out AGAIN 😔 hopefully he gets his act together next time 👍

I don't know if I'm completely sure about this, but I think Jos Buttler staying with the Gujarat Titans is actually a good thing for England fans 🤔. I mean, they've got Jofra Archer on their side now, so that's gotta be a plus right? And Buttler's always been a solid player... or has he been getting too old for this IPL business? Maybe it's time for him to hang up his boots and let the younger guys take over 💪.
 
I think it's kinda harsh on Liam Livingstone, ya know? I mean, we've all had those seasons where things just don't click. He still has a lot to offer, especially with his all-round skills 🤔. I'm gonna be rooting for him this season to prove himself again! 😊 On the other hand, that trade deal by Rajasthan Royals is insane! Sam Curran's addition is gonna bring some serious excitement to their team 💥. But what's going on with Harry Brook? Two years without IPL action? That's just too much 🤷‍♂️. England fans are gonna be super worried about him now 😬
