Is holding Afcon every four years 'totally wrong' or a 'good call' for continental game?

omg can u blv this afcon change is gonna be a BIG deal?? i mean i get it patrice motsepe wants 2 increase revenue 4 caf but cmon a four year cycle 4 afcon? that's like, super long time b4 we even get 2 see the tournament again lol what if som1 wins afcon in year one & then has 2 defend it 2 years later?? it's all gonna feel so rushed i'm low-key disappointed tbh

🤔 I'm kinda mixed on this one... the four-year cycle might be a good way to increase revenue for CAF 🤑 but at what cost? CHAN is like the heart of african football, and discontinuing it doesn't sit right with me 😐. And let's be real, patrice motsepe is trying to make a buck off this 🤝... still, i can see why they did it - every 2 years was getting pretty old, and africa needs some serious investment in its football scene 💸. on the flip side, afcon is where we see all the african giants go head-to-head 🏆 so it's hard to just dismiss it as a bad idea... i guess what i'm trying to say is... idk, man 😅

I feel like they're trying to squeeze more money out of us 🤑. I mean, CHAN is already kinda weak... if you ask me. They need to figure out a better way to promote the 2-year tournaments instead of just phasing them out. But at least the women's tournament will still have some sense 😊. And Patrice Motsepe's trying to address concerns? Good luck with that 💪. I guess the Afcon will always be there, but it feels like they're more worried about CAF's bottom line than what's best for football itself 🤔

I think its a good move 🤔... CAF's got a lot on their plate and hosting this thing every 2 yrs is pretty crazy, idk how they were gonna keep up w/ the costs and everything. And yeah, more revenue for them can only be a good thing 💸. I'm not sure about chan tho 🤷‍♂️... it's a shame to lose that one but maybe its better off just focusing on the Afcon like caf is sayin. Motsepe seems like a reasonable guy, he's tryna address everyone's concerns so i guess thats a positive 🙏.

I'm not sure about this new format 🤔... back in my day, we had a two-year cycle for the Afcon and it was still super competitive! I get that reducing costs and increasing revenue might be a good thing, but can't they just find other ways to do that instead of messing with the timing? 💸 I mean, CHAN is already getting axed, what's next? 🤷‍♂️ And from what I've heard, some players are super unhappy about the change... I feel for them! 😐 Anyway, I guess it's all part of the evolution of the game 🏀, and if CAF can pull it off, maybe it'll work out in the end. But I'm keeping a close eye on this one, that's for sure 👀.

🤔 I gotta say, I'm a bit confused about this change to Afcon 🏆. I mean, more time between tournaments might actually be a good thing for some of the smaller teams that can't afford to keep funding their squads every two years 💸. But at the same time, it's gonna suck for the fans who love watching their teams play every year ⚽️. And what's up with CHAN getting axed? I know it's a domestic-based tournament and all, but I think it's still a great way to develop football in Africa 🌟. Motsepe might be right that more revenue will come from the change, but let's hope he doesn't forget about the fans in the process 😊.
