Israel far-right ministers reject US-backed postwar Gaza panel

I dont know how much longer this cycle of violence is gonna keep going... it's like we're stuck in this never-ending loop of hate and revenge . Smotrich's ideas about a military government in Gaza just sound like more chaos to me - what's the point of security if we just push people out? And these countries accusing each other of ties to Hamas? It feels like we're losing sight of what really matters here: finding peace for both Israelis and Palestinians... it's time for some fresh thinking, not just more old guard politics .

this whole thing is just so...human like we're all stuck in this never-ending cycle of fear and mistrust what's the point of trying to impose order when we can't even agree on the terms ourselves? it feels like Netanyahu and his far-right coalition are trying to hold onto power by perpetuating the status quo, rather than actually working towards a better future for Israel and Palestine and what about those in between - the Turks, Qatari's, Hamas...do they really have no voice or agency in this whole conversation? it's like we're all just pawns in a much larger game

Israel's far-right faction is being super unreasonable about Gaza peace talks Bezalel Smotrich's idea of a military gov in Gaza just sounds like more trouble I mean, won't that just push the Palestinians further away from finding peace? And what's with Smotrich's skepticism over Turkey and Qatar joining the board? Can't he see how important their involvement is for real change? Netanyahu's reluctance to take responsibility for Gaza as "the original sin" - that's just a cop-out The US is trying to bring in world leaders to help, but it feels like they're wasting their time with this Israeli-Palestinian conflict It's gonna be hard to make any progress if both sides are so far apart...

I'm telling you, this is all about control ‍. Netanyahu's gotta keep his grip on power, even if it means ignoring the peace talks . And those far-right faction folks are just pawns in his game . They want more settlements and less responsibility, that's for sure . Meanwhile, Turkey and Qatar get tossed around like a hot potato . Who do they trust? Not Netanyahu, that's for sure . This whole thing is about who gets to decide the future of Gaza, and I'm not convinced it's gonna be anyone but Israel . Mark my words, this "board of peace" is just a fancy way of saying "Israeli control" .
