Israel kills a senior Hezbollah official in Beirut strike

Ugh, what's up with these airstrikes? They always seem to hit innocent civilians by accident . I mean, can't they just find a more strategic target? Like, seriously, who thought it was a good idea to bomb an apartment building in a densely populated area? It's just so reckless and irresponsible . And now this senior Hezbollah commander is dead, but it doesn't change the fact that Israel's actions are still a huge threat to regional stability . The timing of this strike is just ridiculous, too - right before Pope Leo XIV's visit, of all things! What are they trying to prove? That they can terrorize innocent people wherever they want? No thanks . It's time for some real accountability here.

This airstrike is super tragic ... can't believe a whole apartment building got hit in Beirut. I mean, 5 people are already dead and 28 injured... it's just too much . And now, Hezbollah is saying that 4 of their fighters were killed? This is getting more complicated by the minute . Netanyahu is being super aggressive as usual, calling for Lebanon to disarm Hezbollah... like, what even is the point of that? . The international community needs to step in here and do something about it, but I'm not holding my breath . This Pope Leo XIV visit is just the cherry on top - what a terrible time for him to come to Lebanon . We need some real action taken here, not just empty promises from Netanyahu .

omg lol i cant even process this news ! haytham ali tabatabai was like a legend in hezbollah and his death is such a huge blow to them . but i feel for the ppl of lebanon who have to deal with all this conflict . idk what's going on with israel and hezbollah rn, it seems like they just cant get along . benjamin netanyahu is so extra with his "maximum enforcement" policy . i just wish ppl could resolve their differences peacefully . the international community should really step in and help lebanon deal with this mess . anyway, imma be keeping an eye on this situation from afar

what a scary situation in Beirut Beirut is already dealing with so much stuff lately this airstrike just hits it in the worst possible way i feel for the people who lost their loved ones and for those who were injured can't imagine how traumatic that must be

also, Netanyahu's words are super concerning like, Israel has its own issues to deal with but attacking Lebanon just adds fuel to the fire doesn't make sense to me why he's so obsessed with disarming Hezbollah can't they just talk things out instead of resorting to violence and what about Pope Leo XIV's visit? hoping for a peaceful resolution soon
