Israeli military veterans, a backbone of protest movement, vow to keep demonstrating | CNN

🤔 I'm getting so tired of these protest updates on my feeds. Can't they just make a change already? 🙄 I mean, Yiftach Golov is definitely passionate about this cause, but come on, doesn't he think his way is the only right way to fix Israel's democracy problem? 🤷‍♂️ I'm not saying he's wrong or anything, it's just that there are so many other perspectives out there. And what about all these veterans showing up with their fancy military gear and tactics? It's like they think brute force is going to solve everything... 🙃

And don't even get me started on the flags! Can we please just have a more nuanced conversation about Israeli identity instead of waving around some flag as a symbol of justice and liberty? 🎨 I'm all for fighting for what you believe in, but can't it be done without so much chest-thumping and patriotic posturing? 😒

🤔 I'm not sure how credible this pause is, you know? 150,000 people vs 230,000... it's like they're using a different number to fit what they want to happen. And Netanyahu saying the delay is only temporary? That sounds super convenient for him. I'd love to see some more proof that this isn't just a stalling tactic.

🌟 I gotta say, this whole thing with the Israeli vets taking on the gov about the judicial overhaul plan has got me thinking... 🤔

I mean, it's amazing how these guys, who've fought for their country in some of the toughest conditions imaginable, now see themselves as fighting for justice and liberty too! It just goes to show that even the most unlikely people can be moved to take a stand when they believe in something. 💪

And I love how Yiftach Golov puts it - "We're fighting for justice and liberty, just like the American story" 🇺🇸... that's what it's all about, right? The values we hold dear as a society, and the freedoms we enjoy.

Now, I know some people might say this is just another example of the military-industrial complex taking over, but to me, it's more than that. It's about ordinary people demanding change and standing up for what they believe in, even if it means going against the establishment. 💕

Of course, there are still a lot of questions to be answered, and I'm not naive - I know this isn't gonna be easy. But one thing's for sure: these Israeli vets have shown that even when all hope seems lost, the human spirit can rally together and make a difference! 🌈
