it's just a fact that the man was super talented and she was lucky to have met him. but anyway, I think what makes her so fascinating is how she never felt like she had to conform to anyone or anything. her whole "I don't care" attitude is actually kinda inspiring 
even if Meltzer's biography isn't perfect, it's still a good read for anyone who wants to learn more about Birkin's life and legacy
