I feel bad for Mo Salah
. He's been so dominant in the past, and to see him struggling like this is tough to watch. I think Jota's passing has definitely impacted his game, but at the same time, he needs to step up and track his runs more on the right flank
.
But what's really worrying me is how Salah reacted to being dropped from the starting lineup
. It feels like he's taking it out on the club rather than owning up to his own struggles. I get that Arne Slot's man-management might be called into question, but it also seems like Salah needs to take some responsibility for his own game
.
It's a shame because this season has been all about adapting to a new system, and it's clear that Salah isn't clicking with the new formation
. But at the same time, I think Liverpool should be more proactive in helping him adjust rather than just blaming other players or making excuses
.
I'm not sure what the future holds for Salah, but one thing is for sure โ he'll always be a legend at Anfield
. It's just a shame that it might be coming to an end soon
