Jury selection begins in trial for ex-officer accused in police response to Uvalde school shooting

man this is so sad 🤕 u can feel the weight of what happened in uvalde it's crazy that one person's actions (or lack thereof) can affect so many lives... 29 counts? that's a lot 😲 but i think its good that justice is being sought here, especially with all those family members who want to see accountability and truth come out about what went down 💔 the fact that it took over 77 minutes for the tactical team to breach the classroom is just heartbreaking 🙏 hopefully this trial will bring some closure for the families and help make sure something like this never happens again 💪

🤔 this is such a complicated case... I feel bad for the families who lost loved ones, they've been through so much already 🌎. I don't think it's fair to single out one officer though, there should be accountability for everyone involved in that day 👮‍♂️. I'm curious to see how this trial plays out and what comes of it 💔.

Ugh, have you guys ever tried to order food from those new automated restaurants? Like, I was at one last night and they asked me what number I wanted and I just got so confused 🤯. I mean, who even has a "number" for that? It's like, can't we just get a menu like normal people?! 😂 Anyway, back to this Uvalde thing... 77 minutes is crazy! What if you're in class when something like that happens? You'd be stuck there forever 🕰️. And don't even get me started on the trial - so much pressure on one person to decide the fate of all those kids 💔. I'm rooting for the prosecution, but at the same time, I feel bad for the officer... 🤷‍♂️
