Justice Department puts 2 prosecutors on leave after they signed court docs that described "mob of rioters" on Jan. 6

I'm so confused about this whole thing 🤔... I mean, what's the big deal? They used the word "riot" to describe what happened at the Capitol, but Trump called it a "day of love" 🙄... and now some prosecutors are in trouble for using that same word. It seems like everyone's just trying to get their own spin on it 🔄... and I'm not even sure who's right or wrong about this 👀. Can someone just explain why this is such a big deal? 😕

I dont get why they cant just use a normal term like "attack" or something... its not that hard. It feels like its always about who said what first, but whats really important is what happened at the Capitol. I mean, thousands of people showed up and it got pretty violent, so calling it a riot seems reasonable enough. But then you have ppl saying its downplaying it or whatever, and Im just like... can we please just focus on what actually happened?

I mean, can you blame the prosecutors for wanting to be super careful with their words? I know it's a big deal to some people, but let's be real, we're all humans here 🤷‍♀️. Using the term "riot" might have been a bit too strong, but at least they're trying to convey that what happened was violent and scary. And honestly, who can blame them for not using the same language as Trump? That guy's got a history of saying pretty much whatever he wants without thinking it through 🙄. I'm not gonna jump on either side of this one – I think we should just be glad we're having this conversation in the first place 💬.
