It seems like Shanahan's focus on this season is just an excuse to not have "the talk" about Aiyuk's future 🤷‍♂️. What do you guys think? I mean, come on! If Kyle Shanahan really believes that contract stuff doesn't matter, then why bother having those conversations in the first place? It's all about results, right? And if Aiyuk can't deliver, then maybe it's time for a change. But I still think the 49ers need him, especially with their young QB under center 🤘

You can't separate the people from the problem 🤔. When you have talented players like Brandon Aiyuk, it's hard to imagine the team moving on without him 💔. But at the same time, if Shanahan believes that Aiyuk's performance has been inconsistent and that the 49ers need a fresh start, then releasing him might be for the best 🤷‍♂️. Either way, it's gonna be tough for fans to watch him go 😢
 
omg, i feel so bad for Brandon Aiyuk 🤕... like, u gotta give him some credit for puttin in all that work on the field despite all the drama off it 😩... but at the same time, shanahan seems kinda harsh with his "contract stuff is irrelevant" comment 💁‍♂️... i mean, can't he just have an open convo with Aiyuk and figure out a way to make it work? 🤝... fans are gonna be on edge waitin for this one to get resolved 😬... fingers crossed for Aiyuk tho 🤞
 
I don't think Shanahan is being that transparent, he's only saying what he thinks fans want to hear, like he was completely in the dark about Aiyuk's contract issues for months 🙄👀. I mean, come on, have you seen his interviews? He always talks around the real issues, never gets straight to the point. It's like he's trying to protect himself or something. And now that Aiyuk is getting cut from the 49ers, it's all about how Shanahan was focusing on this season and didn't care about Aiyuk's contract... please 🤷‍♂️, if he really didn't know about those issues, then why did he wait until now to address them? The dude knows exactly what's going down 🤑.

Umm yeah... so i think shanahan's just tryin to downplay the drama with aiyuk right? like, it's obvious there's tension between them, but at the same time, the 49ers got bigger picture to worry about - gettin' back to the playoffs, etc. Aiyuk's a talented player, but he's also had some major inconsistencies... i mean, 4,305 yards and 25 touchdowns is nice, but if he can't make it happen in crunch time, that's a problem.

i think what's scary for shanahan is that there are teams out there lookin at aiyuk like he's the next big thing, which could make him an even bigger bargaining chip. so yeah, i dunno... maybe shanahan's onto somethin with his "contract stuff" line - but at the same time, you can't just ignore it and hope it goes away 🤔

ugh I cant believe what's goin on with the 49ers rn... Kyle Shanahan is playin both sides and that's so typical of him lol remember when Jim Harbaugh used to do the same thing back in 2012? anyway, it feels like the team is movin on from Aiyuk already but I still got love for the guy he was a beast last season 😂
