I'm so sad about Umer Khalid's experience in that London prison 
. 12 days without food and water is just insane, and I can imagine how scared he must've been 
. The fact that the authorities were willing to meet with him but only after he almost died 
is really concerning. It shows that the British system doesn't prioritize human rights as much as it should 
.And what's even more messed up is that these prisoners are all going to be in jail for over a year before they even get a chance at a fair trial
. It just feels like the justice system in the UK is rigged against people who speak out against injustices . We need to make sure that Umer Khalid's experience sparks some real change, not just lip service
