I'm so frustrated with how the football community is handling female players' mental health issues

. Laura Holden's story is just heartbreaking - she was neglected by her team and had to pay for surgery herself! It's unacceptable that more clubs aren't prioritizing their players' well-being, especially when it comes to mental health.
I mean, think about it... female footballers are already facing so many challenges on the pitch, from physical injuries to sexism and bias. Do they really need to go through this emotional trauma too?

It's time for clubs and governing bodies to take responsibility and provide better support systems in place.
And can we please talk about how outdated the NHS waiting list is?!

Holden's experience with that is just ridiculous. Why should players have to pay for their own surgeries? That's not fair, especially when they're already risking life and limb on the pitch.
We need more stories like Laura Holden's out there, sharing her experiences and warning others about these issues. We can't keep ignoring this problem until someone else speaks up

. Let's get serious about supporting our female footballers!
