Lego Is Making a 'Power Rangers' Megazord

Lego's Latest Fan-Designed Creations Get the Green Light: A Power Rangers Megazord Is Coming.

A whopping six sets were confirmed as official Lego Ideas sets during this year's review stage, with fans and collectors eagerly awaiting their turn to get their hands on these highly anticipated creations. Among the set winners is a rather iconic design that will undoubtedly excite kids' eyes worldwide - The Go-Go Power Rangers! LEGO Megazord.

Clocking in at an estimated 1,225 pieces (a figure bearing in mind it might change as development progresses), TrumanBricks' interpretation of the beloved Power Rangers franchise brings together all five original Rangers: Jason, Zack, Billy, Trini, and Kimberly. Additionally, this set includes a functioning Megazord that can break down into its individual Zords - quite the clever feature for any fan of this series.

While it's impossible to predict which sets will make it past review stage, Lego fans have plenty to celebrate as four licensed sets were also approved: an E.T. the Extraterrestrial model, The Smurfs set, Downton Abbey-inspired creation, and a Day of the Dead-themed La Calavera Catrina model.

On the other hand, there are still some models that aren't quite there yet - namely three additional ideas currently undergoing review. These projects showcase Lego's ongoing commitment to incorporating fan suggestions into its products: A Golden Girls-inspired kitchen set, Daft Punk-themed concert build, and Ernest Hemingway's The Old Man and the Sea display piece all await further confirmation.

Fans of popular TV shows can look forward to seeing their favorite characters immortalized in Lego form. Unfortunately, no release date has been confirmed for these new sets - which could take months or even years before hitting stores.

OMG, I'm so stoked about this new Power Rangers Megazord set!!! 1,225 pieces? That's like, whoa! Can you imagine building that thing and then breaking it down into the individual Zords? Genius! 🤯 And yay for more licensed sets from E.T., The Smurfs, Downton Abbey, and Day of the Dead - these are all such iconic franchises. I'm also loving the fact that Lego is still listening to fan suggestions and creating sets based on them... it's like they're speaking our language! 😊 But, ugh, no release date? That's just cruel... we'll have to wait a while longer for this beauty to hit shelves. Maybe it'll be worth it? 🤔

I'm not sure I'd get too excited about this one 😐. I mean, a 1,225 piece set is just crazy. Are we really going to spend that much time and money on a toy? And what's up with the Megazord breaking down into individual Zords? Just another way for Lego to nickel-and-dime us, right? 🤑 Plus, there are some other ideas getting reviewed that aren't even close to being as cool. Like, who thought a kitchen set based on Golden Girls was a good idea? 🤣

🤔 finally something that's not a mess on the internet lol just kidding kinda sorta anyway gotta say its cool they actually made some Power Rangers stuff since like the 90s was ancient history for lego fans 💥 but seriously 1225 pieces is insane who needs all that to build a Megazord from scratch 🤓

omg I'm so hyped about this Power Rangers Megazord!! 1,225 pieces is a lot but it's gonna be so worth it to have that detailed Go-Go team and Megazord in my hands 🤩👊😍 Lego needs to hurry up on the release date tho! I mean can you imagine building that thing and seeing it come together? My inner kid is screaming for this!!!

🤯 I'm so hyped about the Power Rangers Megazord set! 1,225 pieces is a lot of goodness to unpack. The fact that it comes with all five original Rangers and breaks down into individual Zords is genius. Can you imagine building this beast as a kid? It's like they're speaking straight to our nostalgic hearts 🤗 And I'm loving the other licensed sets too - E.T. is always a winner in my book 👽 Downton Abbey vibes are so underrated, btw 💼 But what's up with the ones that didn't make it past review yet? I mean, who wouldn't want a Golden Girls-inspired kitchen set or an Ernest Hemingway display piece? 🤔
