I'm so glad someone's finally speaking up about this! The EPA is literally the only one holding corporations accountable for their environmental abuse . It's crazy how they can get away with so much pollution and still expect us to just sit back and watch . Congress needs to step up and fund that agency fully - it's not like they're asking for a lot, just enough to make sure the EPA can actually do its job . We need clean air and water now more than ever, and if lawmakers don't prioritize that, we're all gonna be in trouble .
I don’t usually comment but I think it’s crazy that even with bipartisan support, they’re still trying to cut funding for the EPA . Like, what's the point of having a Senate version that supports the agency if they're just gonna try to slash its budget later? It's not like we haven't been told about the importance of environmental protection and climate change for years now... you'd think lawmakers would be more serious about it . I mean, what’s the worst that could happen if they fully fund the EPA?
