Local brewery will discount its beer based on how much snow falls. They're predicting drafts will sell for 25 cents

Philly Brewery Offers Discounted Beer Based on Snowfall Amounts

As the city braces for a significant snowfall this weekend, Human Robot brewery is offering customers a unique deal to warm up with discounted beer. For every inch of snow that falls, the brewery will discount its TMAVY 1³° beer by $1. With predictions suggesting the Philly region could receive 12-18 inches of snow beginning Saturday night, the brewery is expected to sell its $8 beer for as low as 25 cents.

The promotion is designed to encourage people to venture out and visit one of Human Robot's five taprooms, despite the snowstorm. "It's a way to get people to come out when it snows, because typically people don't go out," said co-owner Jake Atkinson. "But if you can walk, it kind of brings a fun party to the whole snow situation."

TMAVY 1³° is a dark lager brewed with Czech Saaz hops, offering notes of aniseed and dark bread crust. The beer will be served on draft from a special side pull faucet for a precise pour and creamy foam. While this promotion is not uncommon for Human Robot, it's unusual to get enough snow for the beers to cost so little. According to Atkinson, Philly has only received enough snow for $1 beers once since Human Robot opened in 2020.

The promotion will be available at Human Robot's three city taprooms and two suburban locations, but customers are advised to use public transit or walk if they can safely do so. Philadelphia has declared a snow emergency, urging drivers to stay off the roads. As Atkinson puts it, "Just be safe, and let's have some fun."

OMG you guys 🤯, I'm lovin' this idea! Who doesn't love a good beer on a cold snowy day? It's like the ultimate excuse to cozy up with friends at Human Robot brewery. The $1 discount for every inch of snow sounds like a dream come true... I'd totally take advantage of that if I lived in Philly 😂. And can you imagine strolling through the snow, sipping on TMAVY 1³° beer, and having a blast with friends? It's like the real-life version of a Hallmark movie 🎬. The brewery is doing a great job promoting safety too - using public transit or walking when possible is so responsible. I'm not in Philly, but if you are, get on down to Human Robot and enjoy that discounted beer! 💕

Ugh, I love this idea 😂 but at the same time, I'm like... what's the point of drinking beer that cold outside in the snow? 🤣 I mean, I get it, it's a promotion to get people out, but can't we just have a cozy night in with a warm beer and some board games instead? 🍺🎲 But I guess if you're gonna brave the elements, $1 beers are pretty sweet 💸. And 12-18 inches of snow is like, whoa, that's a lot of snow ❄️! It'll be fun to see how they handle it at the taprooms... fingers crossed no one slips and falls 🤦‍♂️!

I'm totally against this whole thing 😒... I mean, who wants to go out in the snow just to get cheap beer? 🤔 It's like they're trying to punish us with cold weather just so we'll drink more. And honestly, what's the point of getting 12-18 inches of snow when it's just gonna melt away in a few days anyway ❄️.

And don't even get me started on the taproom situation 🚫... if they're really worried about people coming out, why not just offer free hot chocolate or something instead? That way, everyone can still have fun without risking life and limb in the snowstorm. But no, they'd rather use beer as a cheap motivator 💸. Give me a break! 😂

😊 I'm low-key obsessed with this idea! Who wouldn't want to grab a beer (or 12) while braving the snowy streets? 🍺❄️ It's genius marketing, if you ask me. The brewery is basically saying, "Hey, come on down and enjoy the snow...with us!" 👫 Plus, it's a great excuse for people to get out and about, even if it is just to grab a pint. And let's be real, $0.25 beer? That's like, the best thing since sliced bread 🍞👌

omg what is wrong with ppl these days? 🤷‍♂️ they're all about that $1 beer deal but nobody even cares about the snow anymore! like who gets excited for 12-18 inches of snow? 🌨️ i mean i guess its cool and all, but can we just appreciate the actual winter weather for once? instead we're stuck with cheap beer promotions 🍺😒. idk man, human robot needs to come up with a better way to get ppl out the house besides "come for the snow, stay for the beers" lol no thanks 👎

just saw this and thought its kinda cool they're offering discounted beer based on how much snow falls in philly 🤔🍺 if i'm being honest id probably just drink all the $0.25 beers myself haha but seriously its a nice touch to get people out and about during the storm

I'm kinda stoked about this beer deal 🍺🌨️ I mean, who doesn't love free money on their beer? But at the same time, it's pretty cool that they're trying to get people out of the house during the snowstorm. I've been cooped up all winter and the thought of a fun party with friends sounds amazing ❄️. The brewery's got some great beers too - TMAVY 1³° is supposed to be really good, even if it is just for 25 cents 🤑. And I love how they're encouraging people to use public transit or walk instead of driving - safety first! 💡

I'm like so confused about this snow thingy... I mean, I know we're supposed to get a bunch of snow soon and they're doing this discount thingy with beer but... umm... isn't that just gonna make people wanna stay inside and drink even more? And won't it be kinda hard to walk in the snow? 🤔 I need to try this TMAVY 1³° beer though, I've been hearing good things about it! Is it like a normal beer or is it super fizzy? Can you get it with food too? 😁

I'm hyped 🤩 about this snow beer deal 🍺❄️! Who doesn't love a good discount 😎? Philly is like, totally ready for some winter wonderland ❄️☃️ fun. Human Robot brewery is doing its part to get people out and about, which is so cool 👍. Plus, the TMAVY 1³° beer sounds pretty tasty 🤤! Aniseed and dark bread crust? Sounds like a party in my mouth 🎉! I'll def be checking it out this weekend ☀️. Snow emergency or not, let's get this beer fest started 🎊!

just think about it... people are already stressed out by the snow, and then you gotta worry about parking and driving? why not just grab a cold one at a brewery instead 🍺🌨️ they're making it rain discounts, literally. i'm low-key tempted to head out there myself 👀 human robot is doing its part to bring some joy during the snowy chaos 💕

omg u gotta love this idea 🤣, who needs a discount when ur city is gonna get like 12 inches of snow lol... but seriously, i think its genius to use snowfall amounts as a way to encourage ppl to get out & enjoy the city. i mean, philly's already got such a cool vibe, why not make the most of it? and who cares if u have to pay 25 cents for beer, its all about having fun in the snow 🎅🏻❄️

omg u guys 12-18 inches of snow in philly is crazy! but i think there gotta be more to this story than just a promo for beer lol what if its actually a way to distract us from the govts secret underground tunnels or something 🤔 meanwhile who gets to decide how much snow is considered "enough" anyway? and why do they only offer it at 3 city taprooms?! seems like human robot has some kinda hidden agenda 🤑

🎉 I gotta say, this sounds like a pretty cool deal! Who wouldn't want to grab a cheap beer while venturing out into the snow? 🍺❄️ I think it's awesome that Human Robot is encouraging people to get out and about, even if it's snowy. And $1 beers are basically impossible to beat! 😂 It's also super thoughtful of them to suggest using public transit or walking if you can, which is definitely the safest option. I'm actually thinking of checking it out myself this weekend... maybe I'll grab a TMAVY 1³° and enjoy the snowy vibes 🎊

I'm low-key obsessed with this idea 🤣🍺. Who needs expensive coffee or ice cream when you can get discounted beer in the snow?! 🎄🍺 It's a genius way to bring people out of their houses on a cold winter night. And I love that it's not just about saving money, but also about having fun and being social. Plus, $0.25 beers sound like a dream come true 💸🍻. Has anyone been to Human Robot before? 🤔
