There's still that 
dark side lurking beneath the surface.I mean, what really matters is how this will play out when it comes to actual policy changes
. Will Mamdani be able to navigate the toxic waters and keep his city safe? 
We'll have to wait and see... 
The thing with Trump is, no matter what he says or does, there's always gonna be someone on the other side of the aisle who's just waiting for him to slip up so they can pounce
. And let's not forget all those angry folks who are still stuck in MAGA land... 
Still, I guess it's good that Mamdani is taking a pragmatic approach and trying to build bridges
. Fingers crossed that he'll be able to keep the peace and protect his city's interests

. The fact that he's still a vocal supporter of anti-immigrant policies and has a proven track record of demonizing minority groups makes me think this is all just a show 
meanwhile, the rest of us should be preparing for another wave of trump's divisive rhetoric and what's gonna happen when he inevitably turns on Mamdani again?
