Man acquitted of Bovino murder plot taken into ICE custody

πŸ€” just thinkin'...if a guy gets acquitted of a serious crime but then gets deported because of his immigration status...that's messed up πŸ™…β€β™‚οΈICE is supposed to protect us, not punish ppl who are just tryin' to live their lives πŸ‘Ž Espinoza's case is like, super flawed from the start πŸ“he got lucky gettin' acquitted but now he's in a whole new kinda trouble πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈanyway...just some food for thought 🍴 [https://www.reuters.com/us-immigrat...m/us-immigration-deportation-ice-2024-11-15/)

I JUST DON'T GET WHY THIS GUY'S IN TROUBLE NOW!!! HE WAS FOUND NOT GUILTY OF MURDER-FOR-HIRE AND YET ICE IS SAYING HE CAN'T STAY BECAUSE HE'S IMMIGRANT!!! IT'S LIKE, THE COURT SAID HE DIDN'T DO IT SO WHY CAN'T HE JUST STAY IN THE COUNTRY?! 🀯 THIS whole thing is just so messed up. Espinoza's got a reputation in his community and three kids who need him, what's going to happen to them now? It's not right that he's being treated like a criminal all over again just because of his immigration status. πŸ˜”

πŸ˜• This is a crazy situation. I just can't believe that someone who was found not guilty of trying to hire a hitman for a high-ranking Border Patrol officer is now facing deportation? 🀯 It's like, what's next? Getting arrested for being broke and having no job? πŸ€‘ I get that the guy has immigration issues, but shouldn't he be safe after going through a court trial? πŸ’Ό The fact that his lawyers are saying this is some kind of "political persecution" thing just makes me wanna shake my head. πŸ˜’ He was acquitted on some pretty thin evidence too, so I don't really get why the government is still pursuing him like this. πŸ€”

ICE is just one step ahead, I guess πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ. So, Juan's acquitted of murder-for-hire but still getting the boot because... deportable 🌳. 30 yrs living in Chicago and this is the thanks he gets? That Snapchat pic was literally the incriminating evidence they needed πŸ˜’. Anyway, can't help but think that maybe, just maybe, his lawyers were right about those messages being taken out of context πŸ’. Guess it's back to square one for Juan πŸ‘‹.

πŸ€” I don't think it's right that he's being deported now that he's been acquitted 🚫. Like, his whole life is basically a reputation built on helping out his brother's construction company and living in the community for 30 years? That's not something to be taken away from him just 'cause some government agency got its facts wrong πŸ˜’. And what's with the Snapchat messages being proof of anything? πŸ“± Like, they could've been misinterpreted or taken out of context too... I don't get why he's still in trouble for this πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ. It seems like ICE is just looking for someone to deport, no matter how unjust it might be πŸ’”. The jury system did work correctly this time around πŸ™Œ, so maybe he should get the benefit of the doubt? 🀞
