Man City's snakebitten second halves are destroying their title challenge | Jonathan Wilson

omg i was literally thinking this is gonna be citys year!!! but nah they're having major issues in 2nd halfs 🤯 its like they can't even retain possession lol how did they become so inconsistent? guardiola was always all about fluid football, what happened to that style?! 😩 pep's new approach might sound cool on paper but it's clearly not working out in reality 💔 and yeah fatigue is a big factor i can imagine the players are exhausted after those intense sessions 👀

Man... I'm telling ya, this season is already getting crazy 🤯! I remember when Man United used to drop points like that and everyone would be like "oh no, it's all over". But then they'd go on a run and come back stronger than ever 💪. City's struggles are definitely not expected, especially with how well Guardiola has done in the past 🤔. I think this new coach Pep Lijnders is trying to shake things up a bit too much, you know? Total Football was always what made City special - now it feels like they're just pressing for pressuring's sake 🏃‍♂️. It's gonna be interesting to see how they turn it around...

OMG 🤯 11 points dropped in 6 games since the new year?? That's insane! 😱 I mean, yeah fatigue is a thing but like Pep changed the team's style of play and now they're struggling to regain possession quickly after losing it? That's a big adjustment 🤔. And it's not just about squandering chances, it's also about City being exposed by opposing teams that are pressuring them high-intensity 💪. I'm still rooting for City tho 🙌, 6 points is still a lot and if they can get their act together, they can still win the league 🔥.

I'm kinda worried about Man City right now 🤔. They're used to being on top of their game and dominating teams, but this season they seem more inconsistent. I mean, they've dropped 11 points in just six games since the New Year, that's a big drop off 🚀. And it's not just about missing chances, it's also about giving other teams a free pass by conceding goals at bad times... like injury time ⏰.

I think Pep Lijnders' new coaching style might be to blame for this mid-game meltdown 💔. I've been following the game for years and Guardiola's teams have always been known for their fluid Total Football, but now it seems like they're playing more of a high-intensity possession-based game that's just not yielding the same results 🤷‍♂️.

I'm loving the unpredictability of this title chase though 😏. City are still in it, and Arsenal's lead is only six points... so much can happen between now and May 🌞. Maybe Man City will find their groove again and show us what they're really capable of 🔥.

I'm not sure what's going on with Man City this season 🤔. They've always been a team that just seems to get more confident and dominant as games go on, but this year it feels like they're having an identity crisis of sorts 📈.

They used to be all about pressuring opponents and winning the ball back quickly, but now it sounds like they're trying to be too intense and aggressive, which is causing them to tire out faster ⏱️. And that's not even considering the fact that they're conceding goals late on, which is just crazy 🚨.

I mean, I get it, fatigue can be a thing, especially with the Premier League being so physically demanding, but it feels like there's more to it than that 😒. Maybe Pep Lijnders just needs to make some adjustments and find a better balance between style and substance? 🤔

But what's most concerning for me is how close they are to Arsenal now 👀. I mean, six points seems like a big gap, but if City can't get their act together, it could be game over in a matter of weeks ⏰. That would be devastating for the Blues and their fans 💔.
