Man, another young life cut short
. Can't even imagine what his family must be going through right now
. Chicago is supposed to be a city with so much potential and beauty, but it feels like the violence just keeps piling up
. I'm not surprised that no one's been arrested yet, though - it's like this stuff never seems to get solved
.
You know what really gets me? The fact that we're still living in a world where gun violence can just be a thing of the night
. Like, how are we supposed to feel safe walking down our streets or hanging out with friends if there's always this looming threat of getting caught up in something like this?

Anyway, I hope the community comes together to support the victim's family and try to make sense of what happened
. And yeah, let's just take a moment to acknowledge that we need to do better as a society to prevent this kind of thing from happening again

18-25 years old is like, the prime of your life, you know? he had his whole future ahead of him 
and now it's all just a memory. Wicker Park is such a cute neighborhood too, i love those little boutiques and cafes on Milwaukee Ave 
but right now, its all about mourning and trying to make sense of what happened 
the cops gotta do their thing, but at the end of the day, they cant bring back what's lost 
it's like, we're supposed to be a community, a family, but instead we're just seen as statistics or victims of circumstance. 
and no arrests yet? that's just devastating for the victim's family and friends who are already grieving.
