Manslaughter inquiry opened after death of worker in Rome tower collapse

man this is so sad :( the thought of him working on that tower all those years and it just giving out like that is crazy, he was only 66 lol RIP octav what a legend, worked there for 30 years with his family and all, that's dedication for you, i'm so sorry to hear about his colleagues too, they're gonna miss their calm dude. Italy needs to step up its workplace safety game, it's just not right that people are losing their lives like this every day 🤕

🤕😱 this is just heartbreaking... 66 years old, lived in Italy with his family, and still lost his life doing what he loved ❤️... 11 hours of rescue ops, that's just too much time to waste on rubble 💔... safety standards need to change ASAP 🚧... it's not just about one person, but the lives of many others who risk everything every day 🌟

man... this is just heartbreaking 🤕. 11 hours of rescue effort and one life lost... it's like, we gotta ask ourselves what's the real value of these old monuments? is it worth risking human lives for historical significance? i mean, stroici was a seasoned worker with 30 years of experience and he still ended up in this situation... what more can you do to ensure safety? 🤔

it's like, we gotta learn from our mistakes and not just look at the stats (avg. 3 lives lost daily)... we gotta think about the human cost. stroici's family, his colleagues, the entire community is gonna miss him... it's a tragedy that could've been avoided with better planning and precautions.

and yeah, the debate on workplace safety standards in italy is long overdue... it's time to take this seriously and not just talk about it 🙏. we gotta put our heads together and find solutions, not just point fingers at each other. RIP octav stroici 💔

Man, that's just devastating 🤕. Can't believe it happened at this tower - been standing there for centuries, and now one guy loses his life. You feel for the fella who was trapped under all that rubble, 11 hours is way too long to be stuck down there 😩. And Stroici, he's a legend, lived in Italy with his family for over 30 years, you know? He must've seen Rome change so much 🤯. The city's prefect saying it was "delicate and complex" - that just doesn't make it okay, you know? We need to be looking at what went wrong here and how we can prevent these kinds of accidents from happening again 🔍.

Ugh, this is just heartbreaking 🤕💔... 11 hours of rescue ops and one life lost? That's just crazy talk 💥. The city's prefect said the scene was "delicate and complex" - yep, that's like saying a Titanic disaster is just an accident waiting to happen 😬. It's not just about the Romanian guy, Octav, it's about all the workers who have to deal with this kind of stress and danger on a daily basis 🤯.

I mean, I get it, old landmarks are fragile, but come on, you can't just leave them as is 🙄. The Cgil union rep is spot on though - we need better safety standards in place, like, now 🚨. And what's up with all these underground construction projects? Can't they see that Rome's ancient infrastructure is already a mess 😂?

This incident is just another reminder that sometimes tragedy happens when we think we're safe 💔. Stroici may be gone, but his memory will live on, and so should the lessons learned from this disaster 🙏.
