Ugh this is so sad , I mean, what's going on in Darfur right now is just horrific. It's like, these innocent people are getting caught up in this huge conflict and being killed left and right... it's just not fair . And to think that the RSF has been accused of executing over 2,000 unarmed civilians? That's just crazy . I mean, we're only seeing this stuff on video now, but if Yale University is saying that they've found evidence consistent with mass killings, then it's gotta be true, right? The level of violence in El Fasher is literally comparable to the first 24 hours of the Rwandan genocide - can you even believe that? . And the fact that there are people being forced out of their homes and killed because of who they are or where they're from... it's just so wrong . We need to do something about this ASAP, for the sake of those innocent civilians .
omg this is literally devastating what's going on in Darfur rn? it's like something straight outta a nightmare i'm still trying to wrap my head around the scale of the atrocities being committed here, 2k+ civilians lost & counting... and those reports of ethnically motivated killings? that's just heartbreaking
anyway, i gotta say, this whole situation reminds me of what happened in Rwanda back in '94. it's like, we thought we learned from history but sometimes it feels like we're right back where we started
i'm not gonna even get into the politics of it all cuz that's just a whole other can of worms, but i will say this: the international community needs to step up their game ASAP. we can't just sit here & watch as innocent ppl are slaughtered
idk why people are so shocked by this, it's just more proof that any group with power is gonna do whatever it takes to keep it . RSF has been fighting the Sudanese army for ages, and both sides have committed atrocities. It's not like they're discovering some new level of human decency for the first time . The fact that civilians are getting killed in door-to-door operations is just another example of how quickly things can spiral out of control when you take away people's rights . I'm not saying it's okay or anythin', but can't we just acknowledge that this is all part of the Sudanese conflict, and move on? We're just gettin' caught up in the shock value of it all .
this is getting crazy i'm watching these reports and it's like something out of a nightmare, what's going on with the RSF? 2k unarmed civs executed in 1 day?? and now they're accusing them of ethnic cleansing... door-to-door clearance ops? this is insane . I mean we've seen some bad stuff happen in Sudan but this level of violence is just not acceptable. The Yale Lab's findings are super concerning, it's like they're following a script from the Rwandan genocide all over again . 150k deaths and 14 million displaced already? and now it looks like we're heading into another wave of violence... what's next?
this is crazy what's happening in Sudan, 2k civilians executed already? and it's not even verified footage how many more lives will be lost? the UN needs to step up their game ASAP and Yale University's research is scarily accurate these door-to-door clearance ops are straight out of horror movies what kind of world are we living in where civilians are being massacred just because of their ethnicity?!
This is just getting worse by the minute... I'm watching this unfold on my news feed and it's heartbreaking. The scale of violence being committed by the RSF in El Fasher is just devastating. It's hard to even process the numbers, over 2,000 unarmed civilians executed? And the reports of ethnically motivated killings are just horrific. The fact that tens of thousands of civilians were trapped in the city for 18 months and then got caught up in this mess... it's just cruel. We need to be aware of what's happening and raise our voices against these atrocities. But at the same time, I'm seeing videos that are hard to verify, so let's not jump to conclusions just yet. The situation is dire, we need aid to get there ASAP.
