I don't think it's cool when politicians play games like this . It's not just about Chicago or any one city, it's about the people who live there . Funding is a big deal, and for it to be taken away over someones' immigration policy? It just doesn't sit right with me . I think Mayor Johnson and Governor Pritzker are doing the right thing by fighting back , even if it means another lawsuit. We should be looking out for our cities and making sure they have what they need to thrive . This Trump admin is all about division and playing hardball ... not what I want to see in a country that's supposed to be coming together .

Man I'm lowkey worried about this... Like they're basically trying to strong-arm these cities into cooperating with his immigration policies, but they know it's gonna get them sued again Trump's whole "sanctuary city" thing is just a way to flex his muscles and make an example out of them. And the worst part is that this funding threat could actually hurt a lot of people in Chicago - artists, musicians, activists... they all rely on these grants to do their work.
