Michigan’s cannabis market hits first annual decline as market shows deeper problems - Detroit Metro Times

meh, who would've thought that a recession would bring down michigan's weed sales 🤷‍♂️? $100 million less is def not going to break anyone's bank... unless you're one of the dispensaries struggling to stay afloat 💸. 24% tax hike is pretty steep tho, hope small businesses can adapt or they'll be the first to get squeezed out 📉. still, new growers popping up is a good sign, maybe this downturn just means they're getting their business model right? fingers crossed for the future 🤞

🤔 man this michigan cannabis market is like totally tanking 🚨💸 they had a decline of 3.1% in sales and now dispensaries are struggling to stay afloat 💔 it's crazy how prices just dropped from $69 to $58 an ounce 🔥 that's like a 18% drop 🤯 and now there's this new tax imposed on wholesale cannabis too 💸 24% is steep even for michigan 😅 anyway i still think new growers and processors will keep emerging but maybe at a slower pace 🔌 we'll have to wait and see if the current downturn leads to some long-term changes in the market 🤔

🤔 I gotta say, this decline in sales for Michigan's cannabis market is pretty concerning 📉. They've got a surplus of product and prices are through the roof 💸. It's like, how much more can businesses take before they shut down? 🚫 And that new tax? Ugh, it's not helping matters 🤑. I mean, I get it, revenue is important for communities, but maybe they could've found a better way to balance that with the needs of the industry 💡.

I'm also wondering what's going on with all those licenses being inactive 😐. It's like, what happened? Did people just give up? 🤷‍♀️ I guess we'll have to wait and see how this whole thing plays out 🔮. Maybe they'll find a way to revamp the industry and get it back on track 💪. One thing's for sure though, these local governments are gonna feel the impact if this slowdown persists 🌎💸.
