Monday's High School Basketball Schedule and Scoreboard: A Busy Night Across the Chicago Area
A plethora of high school basketball teams took to the courts on Monday night, with numerous upsets and thrilling finishes. The day saw a mix of non-conference matchups and conference games, offering something for every fan to enjoy.
In the western suburbs, Glenbard East edged out Glenbard North 67-62 in a closely contested game, while Glenbard South narrowly beat Glenbard West 49-48. Meanwhile, at St. Viator, Libertyville put up a good fight but ultimately fell short against Prospect's strong defense, losing 56-53.
In the south suburbs, Naperville Central struggled to contain Geneva's shooting attack, coming away with a 52-44 win. However, Notre Dame had no trouble dispatching Jones 56-43 in a dominant performance.
At Reavis High School, Kennedy fought valiantly but ultimately fell short against the Panthers' strong defense, losing 67-57. In other news, Naperville North edged out Payton 58-45 in a closely contested non-conference matchup.
In the north suburbs, Barrington had a stellar game against Grayslake Central, winning 56-40 behind a strong all-around performance from the Knights. Waukegan also had a good night, beating Crystal Lake South 68-38 in a crucial conference matchup.
The state's top-ranked teams shone on Monday, with St. Edward dominating Westminster Christian and Aurora Christian's opponent, North Chicago, not having much of an impact. The same can be said for Schaumburg Christian, whose game against Harvest-Westminster ended up being a blowout.

. I mean, seriously though, a bunch of high school basketball games? How many times can we relive the excitement of watching 17-year-olds run around and dunk on each other before we lose our minds 
. On a more serious note, it's always cool to see some of these teams get up and show everyone what they're made of... but let's be real, most of them are still going to need to work on their free throws

. Naperville Central was looking pretty weak against Geneva, I mean what happened to their offense?

so many scores to keep track of! anyway i was thinking it's crazy how some of these teams are killing it this season and then others just can't seem to get on the same page. like naperville north is having a great night but payton is struggling to score against their defense, meanwhile glenbard east is crushing glenbard north in another close game 
so Monday was a wild night for hoops in chicago 
but ultimately came up short. meanwhile downers grove south got handled by lincoln park 
and waubonsie valley took care of business with a 58-23 win over proviso east. 
especially the top-ranked ones like st charles east and st viator who are just dominating it 
Monday night was a wild ride for high school basketball fans in the Chicago area 
. It's not just about winning or losing, it's about the journey and the growth that comes with each game.
. They're showing us what it means to be part of a team, to support one another, and to push ourselves to be our best selves 
. So even though the scoreboard might not always be in their favor 
so many upsets and close games but also a ton of blowouts 
and can someone explain why naperville central is having such a rough season? they're always beating up on weaker teams but get crushed by good ones 
anyway, at least the glenbard twins got some wins out of it 
anyway I think Glenbard East is looking strong this season 
. I mean, sure, some teams are good and all, but it's not like they're gonna change the world or anything 
. And don't even get me started on the scores

. I mean, who gets excited about a bunch of teenagers running around on the court? It's just so... predictable. And don't even get me started on how long some of these games went on - like, what's up with all those overtime periods? Can't they just make up their minds already?
