"The question isn't who is going to let me; it's who is going to stop me." - Ayn Rand People need to stand up against injustice and fight for their rights, and this weekend's demonstrations show that Americans are united in doing so
so 1000 demos in one weekend is a lot like what's going on with ICE I feel bad for the ppl who got shot outside that hospital in Portland two immigrants from Venezuela just because they're trying to make a new life for themselves gets hurt by the system it's crazy. I don't think we can let our elected officials keep ignoring this stuff, like what's gonna happen if we don't do something about ICE? are we just gonna sit back and watch people get killed or deported inhumane style?
Ugh, I know some ppl are gonna say this is a big deal, but can we really blame the protesters for being upset? ICE has been causing so much harm & trauma to innocent people & families... It's not just about the recent shootings, it's about all the other ways they're terrorizing communities nationwide. The fact that ppl are getting arrested for standing up against them is just ridiculous And yeah, maybe the mayor of Minneapolis should be told to leave ICE outta his city, but can't we just have a calm & respectful conversation instead of resorting to violence? I'm not saying what they're doing is right, but come on, can't we find a way to resolve this without all the anger & frustration?
