Most of Great Britain's major rail operators are back in public hands – is it working?

I feel like I'm always playing catch up on my online reading 🙃. Anyway, what struck me is how impressive 90% punctuality target is for ScotRail. That's actually really good considering the long distance between some stations. However, I do wonder if it's only the stats that matter, or if there are any real issues with the service itself. Like, are passengers still experiencing delays and cancellations? And how does that affect their overall experience? It feels like just looking at the numbers might not give us a full picture of what's going on.

idk why ppl are makin a big deal outta scotrail's punctuality targets 🤷‍♂️ like 90% isnt bad or nothin, its all good. and yeah, they're tryin to deliver a safe & reliable service, that's expected of em 😐 dont get me wrong, i'm not dissin scotrail, but lets put things into perspective, theres more important stuff goin on in the uk rn 📊 like whats happenin with the housing crisis or education system? why not give those some love instead of just focusin on rail services? and btw, wheres the analysis? or solutions? thats what i wanna read about! 🤔

I'm telling you, something fishy is going on with those rail operators... 90% punctuality targets, yeah right! That sounds like a number they'd come up with after a PR meeting. I mean, how do they even get that kind of data? It's gotta be manipulated to make ScotRail look good. And what about the other operators? Don't they deserve some love too? This article just scratches the surface, you know? It's like they're trying to distract us from something else. Maybe there's a hidden agenda to keep rail services under control, who knows? 🤔🚂

the stats on scotrail are actually pretty impressive 🚂👍 90% meeting punctuality targets is no joke, especially considering how complex the uk rail network can get. but i think it's interesting that other operators aren't quoted in this article - do they not have just as good (or bad) records? shouldn't we be seeing a more balanced view of the entire industry?

the thing is i think people always forget about scotland when it comes to public transport lol 🚂👍 anyway its cool that scotrail is doing their thing and meeting punctuality targets, thats a big deal for them but what about the rest of uk? like whats happening in other regions? seems like this article just scratches the surface of the whole rail services thing 👀
