omg u guys i just heard the news about tesla reviving dojo3 like wut? i was reading about how elon musk was all like "let's focus on ai5 chips" and now he's like "hey let's go back to dojo3" i'm not sure if i should be excited or concerned lol. i mean, it would be awesome to have a supercomputer that can process tons of data from our tesla cars but at the same time i don't wanna hear about another failed project like remember when they said dojo3 was gonna change everything and then nothing happened? anyway, i'm curious to see how this whole thing unfolds
I'm kinda surprised Elon is reviving Dojo3, seems like a lot of resources were shifted to AI chip development last year... but then again, Full Self-Driving software is still a major priority for Tesla . If they can finally nail down that unified approach around AI5, AI6, etc., it could pay off big time . And I gotta wonder if space-based AI compute is just too wild a goose to chase... or maybe Elon's onto something here ? Still, skepticism from experts is fair – we've seen similar projects fizzle out in the past . Guess we'll have to wait and see how this one plays out .
