Myanmar’s junta holds second phase of widely slammed elections

omg what's good i'm lowkey worried about myanmar right now 🤕 they're still under military rule after all these years and it's just getting worse - 90k+ ppl killed in the civil war is insane 💀 like can't we just have some peace already? 🙏 the election process is super sketchy too, with protesters being put on trial for just speaking out 🚫 i'm not sure what to make of the military trying to improve their image abroad but it feels like they're more concerned with maintaining power than actually helping the ppl 🤷‍♀️

I gotta say, this election in Myanmar is like a perfect example of how politics can get super complicated 🤯. On one hand, you got people like Than Than Sint who are trying to make the best of a bad situation and hope for peace 🙏. But on the other hand, there's just so many doubts about the whole process being rigged 💔. I mean, when you gotta deal with an election that's been manipulated by a military junta, it's hard to trust anything 😒.

And let's not forget, the fact that over 22,000 people are being held as political prisoners and protesters are getting targeted is like, super concerning 🚫. It's like the junta just doesn't care about democracy or human rights at all 🤷‍♂️.

For me, this whole situation reminds me of how some politicians make promises they don't keep 📝. The junta's promise to return power to the people once the election is done seems like just a fancy way of saying they want to improve their international image and get more foreign investment 💸. I'm not convinced it's going to be any different this time around 😒.

It's hard to know what's real and what's not when you're dealing with something as complex as this election 🤔. One thing for sure, though - Myanmar's people need a break from all the violence and repression 💥.

I'm so disappointed in what's happening in Myanmar 🤕. It seems like the military is just trying to save face and gain some international respect, but it's all at the cost of the people's freedom and future. The fact that they're trying to hold onto power by manipulating the election system is super suspicious. I feel for Than Than Sint and her fellow farmers who are just trying to have a say in their country's future 🌾.

It's crazy that the military has turned activists into political prisoners and is using laws that carry 10 years in prison against them. The numbers of people killed and imprisoned are just devastating - over 90,000 deaths and 22,000 prisoners? It's like they're trying to erase an entire nation from history 🚫.

The international community needs to step up and hold the military accountable for their actions. We can't just sit back and watch as democracy is dismantled in Myanmar. The people deserve better 🌟.
