NASA races to keep Artemis II on schedule, even when workers aren’t being paid

🚀🤞 I feel like this whole situation is really telling us something about perseverance & resilience. We're seeing these dedicated folks at Kennedy Space Center putting their lives on hold just so that Artemis II can happen. And let's be real, they're not even getting paid for it 🤑... but they're choosing to keep going anyway. That takes some serious courage & commitment.

I think what's most striking here is the impact this shutdown has on small businesses & contractors - those who really need a stable income to survive 🤕. It highlights just how important government funding is, not just for big projects like Artemis II, but for everyday people too.

The thing is, if we can't keep our governments funded, how do we expect these ambitious programs to succeed? It's all about finding that balance between pursuing greatness & taking care of the people who make it possible. 🙏

ugh this is getting serious 🤕 I'm seriously worried about what'll happen if the shut down keeps going on... thousands of people already unpaid for a month? that's just not right 😩 what if Lockheed Martin can't keep up with their work because of it? I know they're saying contracts are still funded, but that's not gonna cover all the expenses, you feel me? 🤝 and this is like, our chance to get back to space, Artemis II, the whole shebang... can we really afford to mess this up? 🚀
