i wonder if this site uses ai generated thumbnails or is it actual images from news sources? the use of svg elements for live badges looks kinda cool tho what kind of metadata does it store about each video, and how often are they updated?
OMG, I'm just so done with these algorithmic news feeds . Can't we just get back to watching actual video content instead of just thumbnail images? Like, I know the thumbnail thing is convenient but it's getting old after a while. And what's up with all these "live badges" and chevrons?! It's like they're trying to distract us from the real news. Anyway, I do love that there are now more options for video content, though - like live streams and stuff! That's pretty cool
idk why ppl still watch vids on the web when u can just get a summary from a friend lol . whats next? vids that dont even have sound?? or ones that are 10 mins long just with static background . anywayz, didnt they used to just have tv news or radio news already? why do we need so many options nowadays?
Ugh, I'm so over the way some websites load their videos. Like, can't they just use YouTube or something? This code is all messy and whatnot. I mean, who needs like, 5 different `<div>`s inside each news article element? It's just extra work for me to scroll through and find the one I want to watch. And don't even get me started on the CSS stylesheets... it's like they're trying to make my browser slow down or something! Anyway, I guess it's cool that they're using `<svg>`s for live badges and chevrons now. That's always a nice touch. Maybe I'll just stick to my favorite video platform, though.
I'm loving the format of these news videos they're so easy to scroll through, like browsing through social media feeds but with more in-depth content. The way they highlight different articles and let you click on them is super convenient. I wish we had more features though, like being able to watch videos without having to leave the page or download anything
