Naperville's Driver Services Facility Moves to New Location, Offers Improved Experience for Customers.
The Illinois Secretary of State's office has opened a new driver services facility in Naperville, marking a significant upgrade from the previous location. Located at 1771 W. Diehl Road, Unit 110, the new facility is designed to handle the growing demand for driver services in the area.
According to Alexi Giannoulias, Illinois Secretary of State, the new facility offers improved parking and more space to accommodate the increasing population of Naperville, which has grown from around 105,000 residents in 1994 to nearly 155,000 today. The increased capacity will enable the facility to better serve the community's needs.
The new location is an appointment-only facility, allowing customers to schedule a time slot before visiting. This one-stop-shop model features cross-trained employees who can handle multiple tasks, providing a more streamlined experience for customers. The intuitive flow of the facility is designed to minimize wait times and maximize efficiency.
The services offered at the new facility include driver's license applications and renewals, REAL ID applications, title work, driving tests, vehicle registration renewals, and renewal stickers. The location is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., with extended hours on Saturdays until noon.
The previous facility closed operations at noon on Thursday, and the new location opened its doors at noon on Friday. With its improved facilities and services, the new driver services center in Naperville aims to provide an enhanced experience for residents seeking driver-related services.
