I'm shocked by Chuck Schumer's tanking favorability ratings! 
His moderate stance used to be a major asset, but now it's being seen as out of touch with the times. The shutdown debacle has really hurt his image - I mean, who wants a leader who can't even bring people together? 
I think Anthony Weiner hit the nail on the head when he called Schumer an "institutionalist" - sounds like someone stuck in the past to me
. And those Sunday press events? More like Sunday snooze fest

It's interesting that some progressive activists are calling him out for not being aligned with the party's core values. I mean, if you're not supporting a candidate like Zohran Mamdani, what's the point of even having a minority leader?
One thing's for sure: Schumer needs to step up his game if he wants to recover from this low point!
