Nottingham Forest: Sean Dyche closing in on Napoli striker Lorenzo Lucca

Nottingham Forest are on the cusp of landing Napoli striker Lorenzo Lucca, with the Premier League club closing in on a loan deal that could be made permanent. The 25-year-old Italy international has only been at Naples since July last year, when he joined on a temporary basis with an obligation to buy.

Lucca has struggled to find consistent game time under manager Antonio Conte, scoring just once in his 16 Serie A appearances so far this season, although he has made four starts. He did notil score any goals for Udinese last season, the club where he spent most of his youth and had a loan spell before joining Napoli.

New Forest boss Sean Dyche is understood to be keen on Lucca as part of his bid to bolster his team's attacking options. Wood has been ruled out since December with knee surgery. Lucca could become Forest's second major signing in recent weeks after the arrival of Wolves striker Jorgen Strand Larsen, although at ยฃ40m.

Forest are also looking at Napoli teammate Mathias Olivera as they assess their left-back situation. The club will be hoping that this loan move can be made permanent and help to lift them from mid-table with just six points above the relegation zone.

๐Ÿค” Forest needs a goal scorer ASAP, right? ๐Ÿš€ Lucca's stats are kinda meh... 1 goal in 16 Serie A games is not exactly setting the world on fire ๐Ÿ”ฅ Still, Dyche seems like he knows what he's doing ๐Ÿ˜Ž. Wood being out since Dec means they need someone who can step up, pronto! โฐ

I love how Forest is chasing both Lucca and Olivera at the same time ๐Ÿคฏ Can't wait to see how it all plays out ๐Ÿ’ก๐Ÿ”ฎ Maybe with two new strikers, they'll finally start scoring some goals ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿ‘

๐Ÿค” I think it's interesting that Nottingham Forest is targeting Lorenzo Lucca, considering he hasn't had much success in Serie A under Antonio Conte ๐Ÿ™ƒ. The fact that he scored only once in 16 appearances suggests that he might need some time to adapt to the Premier League and find his form โฐ. On the other hand, Sean Dyche's experience with getting players up to speed could be a plus for Lucca ๐Ÿ’ก. It's also worth noting that this loan deal could potentially become permanent if everything goes as planned ๐Ÿคž. The question is, how will Lucca adjust to the physicality and pace of the Premier League? Will he be able to make an impact on the pitch? โšฝ๏ธ

You know what's crazy about all these transfer rumors? Sometimes you gotta let go of what's not working just so something better comes along ๐Ÿ’ก. Lorenzo Lucca's had some struggles at Napoli, but maybe a fresh start like this is just what he needs to get back on track. It's funny how we think we're the ones in control when really life's got its own plans for us ๐ŸŒŠ. I mean, one day you're scoring goals and the next you're struggling to find your footing โ€“ it's all part of growth, right? Let's hope Lucca finds his form again and brings some joy to Nottingham Forest fans ๐Ÿ˜Š.

OMG ๐Ÿ˜ฑ I'm so stoked for Nottingham Forest fans! They need a striker like Lorenzo Lucca ASAP ๐Ÿ’ช, especially with Wood out injured ๐Ÿค•. He's been on loan since last year and it's clear Conte isn't giving him enough game time โฐ. If Dyche signs him permanently, I think that'll be a huge boost to their team's morale and maybe even get them out of the relegation zone ๐Ÿšซ๐Ÿ’ช.

And, like, I know Forest is looking at Mathias Olivera too... that left-back position has been a problem for ages! ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ Hopefully they can sort it out soon. Can't wait to see how Lucca does in the Premier League ๐Ÿ’ฅ

im thinkin loorenzo lucca would be a great addition 2 nottingham forest, hes got loads of talent but just needs 2 get consistent game time under antonio conte ๐Ÿค”, dyche knows how 2 motivate players & i think he cud bring out the best in him. also, getting strand larsen 4 ยฃ40m is already a massive coup 4 forest, lets hope they can pull off this loan move & make it permanent ASAP! ๐Ÿ’ช

Nottingham Forest is like, really desperate for a striker right now ๐Ÿคฏ! Wood's been out since Dec and they're hoping Lucca can fill the gap ๐Ÿ”ช. I mean, Lucca's had some struggles at Napoli but you never know what's gonna happen in the transfer market ๐Ÿ’ธ. If this loan deal does get made permanent, it could be a game changer for Forest ๐Ÿ”„. They need all the help they can get to stay up. Stranger things have happened though... maybe this is just what they needed ๐Ÿ˜.

I'm loving the idea of Nottingham Forest making a move for Lorenzo Lucca! I mean, the guy's had some decent performances in the Serie A, even if he hasn't been getting the consistent game time under Conte ๐Ÿค”. As someone who's always been a fan of underdog stories, I think it's great that Dyche is willing to take a chance on him. And can you imagine how good Lucca would look alongside their other signings? It's like they're building something special up in the Midlands ๐Ÿ”ฅ. Plus, Lucca's got some big shoes to fill after Strand Larsen joined for that massive ยฃ40m fee ๐Ÿ˜ฑ. If he can make it work with Dyche and Wood back from injury, I think Forest could be onto something ๐Ÿ”ฎ.

I think it's really interesting how Nottingham Forest is trying to strengthen their team, especially since Wood has been out for a while ๐Ÿค”. Bringing in Lorenzo Lucca could definitely give them a boost up front, and I'm not surprised that Dyche wants him. A loan deal that can turn into a permanent one would be great news for the club. It's not like they have a lot of attacking options left, so anything to get them scoring more goals would be a big help ๐Ÿ“ˆ.

And it's also worth noting that Lucca has only been at Napoli since last year, so he might still have some decent form in him ๐Ÿ’ก. Of course, his time at Udinese wasn't exactly stellar either, but you never know how a change of scenery can affect someone's game. I'm not sure if this is going to make all the difference for Forest, but it's definitely worth keeping an eye on ๐Ÿ•ฐ๏ธ.

Oh, and I also heard that they're looking at Mathias Olivera as well? That's another interesting move ๐Ÿค. A left-back who's come from Napoli might have some decent skills in him... we'll just have to see how it all plays out ๐ŸŽฎ

omg i feel bad for lorenzo lucca lol he's been stuck on the bench at napoli since last year & now he's off to nottingham forest ๐Ÿค• hopefully he'll get more game time & score some goals soon ๐Ÿ’ช sean dyche seems like a decent gaffer tho, might be just what lucca needs to turn his season around ๐Ÿ“ˆ forest fans must be super hyped about this potential signing tho! โšฝ๏ธ 40m for jorgen strand larsen tho? woah that's steep ๐Ÿ’ธ anyway, fingers crossed lucca can make a difference at forest & we see some exciting goals from him ๐ŸŽฏ

๐Ÿค” I'm loving the idea of Nottingham Forest signing Lorenzo Lucca! He's a talented striker who's had some struggles at Napoli, but I think he could really make a difference for Dyche's team. It's not ideal that he's only scored once in 16 Serie A appearances, but with Wood out for months, they need someone to fill the gap ASAP ๐Ÿฅ. If Lucca can get some consistent game time and help Forest stay up, it'll be a great move for both parties ๐Ÿคž. And let's hope that if he does come in on a permanent deal, they can make it happen at a reasonable price ๐Ÿ’ธ.
