I'm not sure I buy into this video recording thing... I mean, what if the patient has some kind of tech issues? Or they just can't be bothered to record themselves? 
And a 7-day waiting period seems like an awful lot of time for someone who's literally dying. Like, what's the point of that? 
Can't we just get on with it and make sure those people don't have to suffer any longer than necessary? 
I'm all for making sure there are safeguards in place, but some of these proposed changes seem like they're more about politicking than actually helping people.

. On one hand, I get it why people wanna make sure those who are terminally ill can pass away with dignity, but on the other hand, you gotta think about all the potential downsides, like, what if ppl are manipulated into doin' it? And, yeah, 7-day wait period sounds kinda harsh

... I mean, who wants to have their darkest thoughts recorded on camera? 
Not me, that's for sure. This whole thing just feels like a solution looking for a problem to me... can't we just focus on treating people with compassion and care instead of playing doctor/patient?
