NY, NJ challenge Trump’s threats to SNAP funding amid confusion over payments

I'm so done with this government shutdown 🙄! It's like they're playing politics with people's stomachs 🍴. The fact that Trump is trying to cut off food assistance benefits is just cruel 😔. I mean, 3 million New Yorkers and 800,000 New Jerseyans are counting on those SNAP payments to get by. And now the judge has ruled against the administration's attempt to revoke full payments? That's like a big fat no-no 🚫.

And can we talk about how confusing this whole situation is? One day they're telling states to reduce SNAP payments, and the next day they're saying go ahead with full payments 😂. It's like they're trying to keep everyone guessing on purpose. And now some stores are refusing to accept SNAP payments? That's just ridiculous 🤦‍♀️.

But you know what the worst part is? This situation has social services organizations feeling overwhelmed 🤯. They're already struggling to keep up with demand, and now this? It's a rolling disaster, for sure. I just hope some sense will come out of all this soon... or maybe just a permanent solution so we can get back to normal 😊.

Interesting 😐 how the Trump administration's actions are causing confusion and uncertainty among recipients of SNAP benefits. It seems like their memo was contradicted by their own guidance, which is pretty wild 🤯. I think it's great that New York and New Jersey resumed full payments, though – those 3 million residents deserve stability during this shutdown 🙏. Let's hope the courts can keep things in check and provide some relief to these families 👍.

idk how confusing it is when ppl r all over the place about this snapp thing 🤯... so, nyc & nj just went back to full payments on friday & sunday which seems wack given trumps memos 📝 but i guess some states might've been like "nah we're good" or whatever 💁‍♀️... meanwhile food pantries r seeing a 25% increase in demand after snapp was paused in nov 🚨 and that's just awful 😔... anyways, im glad the court ruled that nyc & nj can't be cut off from snapp payments but we gotta keep pushing for stable funding for these programs 🤝
