NYC investigating Harlem building for Legionella after 2 Legionnaires’ cases

🤕 The fact that there's been another Legionnaires' outbreak in Harlem is super worrisome. I mean, you'd think that after last year's 100+ cases, the city would be like "okay, we got this" but nope, another case comes up and everyone's freakin out 🚨.

I feel for Heaven Berhane and all the other residents who are literally shaking in their boots over here. It's one thing to have a couple of cases pop up, but what if it spreads? And honestly, how do you even know when it's Legionnaires' disease that's the culprit? The investigation is a good start, I guess.

But here's the thing: management is still gonna wanna sweep this under the rug and not wanna admit to anything, right? 🙄 That just exacerbates the problem. And meanwhile, residents are stuck in limbo while they're trying to figure out what to do. The fact that it takes weeks for test results doesn't help, either.

We need more transparency and accountability from the city and management companies like Urban American. It's not just about "staying safe" – it's about actually addressing the issue and preventing future outbreaks. 💦

omg 🤯 this is so concerning! I cant believe they're not taking action fast enough 🙄 to test the water systems and make sure everyone's safe. i mean, 2 cases in 12 months is way too many 💦 and it just shows how important it is to keep an eye on our plumbing systems and take care of them regularly 💪. I feel so bad for those residents who are already worried about their health 🤕 and now they're being told to wait weeks for test results? that's just unacceptable ⏰. we need some accountability from the management company and the city health department, stat! 💼
