Man, 11 years old and already gone

. I'm glad they caught the bus driver, but what's crazy is that he was driving for like, literally seconds before he hit her

. You'd think he would've been more careful, especially since she was just a kid walking home from school.
I'm all for drivers being held accountable, but can't we also work on making these streets safer for pedestrians? Like, what if there were cameras or something to make people feel more secure? Or better yet, why not create designated pedestrian zones where kids can walk safely without having to worry about cars

?
This whole thing is just really sad and unnecessary

. I hope the bus driver gets the help he needs, but for now, it's all about holding him accountable for his actions

.
