I don’t usually comment but... this is just so sad 
. I mean, 11 years old, what a tragedy. And it's not even that he meant to do it, like, he was just driving and didn't see her or something. But still, the fact that he left the scene, that's just wrong 
. I don’t know if they're going to find his bail or whatever, but hopefully justice is served.
And it's crazy how this makes you think about all the other times something like this has happened and no one was held accountable
. Like, what's supposed to be in place to keep us safe? And why did he leave the scene?! Did he even stop to check on her or anything? It just feels so... reckless.

it's crazy how quickly things can go wrong and before you know it someone's dead. we need better safety measures in place, especially in areas where there are a lot of families with kids around. maybe the city could look into hiring more traffic cops or something to make sure these kinds of accidents don't happen again 
do you think anyone would have seen what happened? was there any surveillance footage that could've helped catch this guy sooner?
