NYPD has failed to release police body camera footage on time, audit finds

Man, it's crazy how some big organizations just can't seem to get their act together 🤯. I mean, the NYPD is supposed to be one of the most transparent cities in the country, but apparently they're still struggling with releasing body cam footage like it's 2020 📹. 25 business days? Come on, that's not even a weekend 😴! It's no wonder people are skeptical about these cameras if it takes forever to get the footage.

And don't even get me started on the officers who turn off their cameras too early or sergeants who aren't following procedures 🙄. That just undermines the whole point of having body-worn cameras in the first place. I guess you could say the NYPD is still figuring out how to use these tools effectively 💡.

It's good that they're making some changes, but we need to see more action and less excuses 🤷‍♂️. Transparency is key, and if we can't trust our law enforcement agencies to be transparent, then what's the point? 😊
