just had to re-read that article about lake tahoe bears i mean, who expects to get attacked by a bear in their own garage? 4:30 am is super early even for a coffee craving! anyway, security is key here... gotta make sure all doors & windows are locked tight & trash cans are stored properly. can't have those bears sniffin' out food
Ugh, I'm getting so anxious just thinking about this . Like, how do you even know someone's at home if they're rummaging around in the garage at 4:30 am? It's already crazy enough that bears are venturing into residential areas, now we gotta worry about them sneaking in through an open window or something? That's just not right. And what about people who don't even live alone? What if there's a family sleeping and the bear breaks in? It's so important for everyone to take these precautions seriously. Storing food and trash properly, locking all doors and windows... it's not that hard, but apparently some people need to be reminded .
idk how many bears there are at lake tahoe but apparently it's like 10 times more than last year . like 15 confirmed attacks so far in 2025 and that's a lot considering the area is already pretty small . anyone got a graph showing bear population growth over the years? would be cool to see how many people have been injured from these attacks too . also, what's with people entering their garage at 4:30 am in search of food? didn't we learn this from the grizzly man story?
