I'm kinda surprised by how many people from all age groups are opting to rent these days 🤯. I mean, sure, it's always been a good idea for young folks to wait till they can afford that mortgage, but the thing is, renting isn't just for broke students anymore 😅. The stats show that older renters are on the rise too, which is a bit concerning if you ask me - what happens when you're 60+ and still trying to find a place to live? 🤔

But you know what's even more interesting? The whole idea of homeownership being a myth for many people 🏠. I mean, I've seen friends who are renting their lives away, while others are stuck with huge mortgages that they can barely afford. It's like the system is all wrong sometimes 💸.

🤔 I'm actually kinda worried about all these people getting stuck in the rental market... it's like, what happens when they want to retire or their kids move out? 🏠💸 And at 55+, renting is just so not affordable anymore... 🤯 I mean, can you even believe it?! Renting is now for people of all ages! I'm 28 and my best mate is 62, he's been renting for years and he's not alone! It's crazy that we're seeing a 70% increase in older renters. What's going on? Has the dream of owning your own home really become a pipe dream?

I've got friends who are in their 40s and 50s, they can't even afford to put down a deposit, let alone the mortgage payments! And don't even get me started on the stress of renting - it's not just for young adults anymore, it's for anyone who wants stability.

I feel like we're living in a society where renting is becoming the new norm, and it's breaking my heart. I grew up with a friend who worked multiple jobs to save up for his first home, now he can't even afford a deposit! It's like the system has failed us all.
