‘One Battle After Another,’ ‘KPop Demon Hunters’ & More Winners That Made History at the 2026 Golden Globes

I gotta say, I'm low-key bummed that KPop Demon Hunters won two things. Not that it's a bad thing, per se, but I think the recognition should go to the actual artists instead of just their teams or producers. It's like, yeah, they created this catchy song and made an animated film that resonated with people, but what about the creators themselves? Don't get me wrong, I'm happy for them and all 😊, but it feels a bit unfair to not give more props to the actual humans behind the scenes.
 
I'm still trying to wrap my head around that KPop Demon Hunters win 😂. I mean, it's amazing for KPop fans, but are we really seeing a shift in the global entertainment industry where KPop is suddenly giving Hollywood a run for its money? 🤔 I guess only time will tell if this is the start of something big.

It's also great to see Paul Thomas Anderson getting some well-deserved recognition. His film "One Battle After Another" does sound like it's going to be good, and his directorial skills are definitely up there among the best in Hollywood 🎬.

I do find it a bit weird that Ricky Gervais won for his stand-up comedy special while Amy Poehler took home the podcast award 📻. Maybe they just need to get more podcasts out? 😉

And what's up with "Frankenstein" and its sequel not getting any love? I mean, I know it's been around before, but I still haven't seen either one... maybe I'll have to check them out now 😅.
 
omg did u catch the Kpop surprise?? i was literally screaming at my screen when "KPop Demon Hunters" won best original song and animated film!! i mean paul thomas anderson is already a legend now with three awards in one year, he's like unstoppable 🤩🎉 what about "One Battle After Another", has anyone seen it? i need to watch it ASAP!
