Man, it feels like we're living through some wild times
. I'm trying to remember a time when politics didn't seem so chaotic
, but I guess that was back in Bush's second term or something... anyway, Kwame Raoul's office seems like they're holding the line against what he calls "chaos" - and honestly, it's kinda inspiring
. As someone who grew up listening to my parents talk about immigration and its impact on their lives, I can see why this is personal for him
.
The thing that gets me though is how much of a toll these lawsuits are taking on Illinois residents
. It's like they're getting caught in the crossfire
. And what really grinds my gears is when Trump claims to be doing all these amazing things - I mean, have you seen his approval ratings?
it's just crazy how out of touch he seems.
But you know who does seem on point? JB Pritzker
, for sure! As someone who grew up with the changing face of America, it's heartening to see a leader trying to bring people together instead of driving them apart. Okay, maybe I'm just romanticizing all this - but what else can you do when politics is as messed up as it seems?
