I think Paramount is being super greedy . I mean, $108 billion is a lot of money, but is it really worth disrupting Netflix and putting Warner Bros. Discovery at risk? I don't get why they can't just play nice and make a deal that everyone's happy with. They're basically throwing a tantrum and trying to strong-arm their way into this deal . And now, with Macron getting involved, it's like they're trying to curry favor with the big boss . I'm not sure what Paramount is thinking, but I think they're going about this all wrong .
OMG you guys I'm literally so invested in this Paramount vs Netflix drama ! So like I know they're trying to win over Macron and all that but can we talk about how nerve-wracking this whole situation is? I mean, if regulators in Europe are weighing in, it's going to be a super tough sell for either side. And honestly, I'm kinda rooting for Netflix (don't @ me ) because they're like the underdog here and it's always cool to see those guys come out on top. But at the same time, Paramount is giving them a run for their money and that's what makes this whole thing so juicy! What do you guys think?
just thinking about all these big companies and their lawyers ... it's like they're speaking a different language sometimes . i mean, i don't really understand why warner bros discovery is being so resistant to paramount's offer. can't they just see how much money it would bring in? or is it something more than that? maybe there's some deal-breaker that we don't know about? anyway, this whole thing is getting pretty intense ... fingers crossed for warner bros discovery!
