can't believe it's come to this , like the us is struggling with pennies... those little coins that are supposed to be worth 1 cent . but honestly, if the cost of making them exceeds their value by 2.7 cents , maybe it's time to just cut loose. and yeah, getting rid of them altogether might not be a bad idea . no one needs 'em anymore, right?
omg, can u bliev?? theres a penny shortage in the us!!! its like, how is this even happenin? i mean, isnt it just gonna be a matter of gettin more pennies at the mint or somethin? noooo, instead we gotta deal with giant eagle and sheetz tryin to make deals with customers 2 bring in their spare change its like, wut r they even doin with all that money?
omg this penny shortage is wild i mean its not like usd hasn't had its share of weird currency quirks before but this one takes the cake. personally think they should just get rid of it altogether lol, 2.7 cents is just too much waste like lenard said "let's rip the waste out" might be a bit dramatic but you get what i mean
i THINK THE US SHOULD JUST GET RID OF THOSE P PennIES ALREADY!! IT'S LIKE THEY'RE CREATING A LOGISTICAL NIGHTMARE FOR BUSINESSES & CUSTOMERS ALIKE! PRODUCING THEM COSTS MORE THAN THE VALUE, SO WHY KEEP 'EM AROUND? IT'S TIME TO RIP UP THE OLD SYSTEM AND START FRESH!
I'm so confused about this whole penny shortage thing . Like, why did the US just decide to stop making pennies in the first place? And now everyone's struggling to make change and it's a big deal for retailers. It seems like a lot of work for something that's only worth 2.7 cents more than its value . I don't get why the government wouldn't just phase out the penny over time instead of suddenly stopping production. Can we just get some clarity on this already?
omg have you seen this?! so there's a penny shortage in the US and businesses are freaking out! retailers can't find pennies and some are even giving away free stuff to encourage customers to bring them in it's wild that they're holding events like "Pennies for Gift Cards" . but seriously, getting rid of pennies altogether is a good idea... the cost of producing them is way more than their value . and i'm not surprised the US isn't the first country to do this, other countries have phased out small coins before too so why can't we just make it happen here? the thing that's really annoying is the lack of clarity on how to handle this... who knew being a penny was such a hassle?!
