this is like something out of a bad spy movie... a contractor with top-secret clearance leaks some classified info to a journalist and suddenly the FBI is at their doorstep, raiding their home? it's like they're trying to make an example out of someone. I mean, I get it, national security is important, but come on, can't we just have a grown-up conversation about this stuff instead of resorting to aggressive tactics? and what's with the "escalation in Trump administration's intrusions into media independence"? isn't that a bit rich coming from a gov't that's already been accused of... well, you know.

She just shares some leaked documents to her readers and suddenly she gets raided by the Feds. That's some serious overreach if you ask me. The fact that they're seizing all her devices and stuff is just outrageous . I mean, I get it, national security and all that, but can't we find a better way to deal with leaks? It feels like they're trying to silence people who are doing their job . And what about press freedom? It's supposed to be protected, right? This is just the latest example of how out of control things have gotten under this administration .
This is getting out of hand. Leaking classified info should get you some serious time, not an FBI raid that's more about silencing journalists than national security
I'm totally with the FBI on this one . I mean, think about it - some dude with top-secret clearance is just handing out sensitive info to journalists like it's going out of style? That's just irresponsible and could have serious consequences for national security. And yeah, maybe the raid was a bit aggressive, but come on, it's not like they were breaking down her door without warning... although that part does sound pretty extreme . I'm all about press freedom and all, but you can't just let people waltz in with classified info and expect everyone to be cool with it. Someone needs to hold these journalists accountable for their actions .
